As journalist Mark Gurman learned, Apple plans to amaze its users with a truly record-breaking update to the iPhone lineup. Within the next year and a half, the release of as many as 9 new smartphones is planned.

iPhone Lineup Update — What to Expect
According to the latest information, as early as autumn 2026, the presentation of three flagships will take place:

iPhone 18 Pro;

iPhone 18 Pro Max;

the first foldable iPhone Fold/Ultra.
It’s also worth noting that we won’t see the basic iPhone 18 this year – it will enter the market in the spring of 2027, writes Techradar.
During the same period, Apple plans to introduce a budget version, the iPhone 18e, as well as the second generation of the ultra-thin gadget, the iPhone Air.
Interestingly, the company intends to “skip” the 19th generation and immediately announce the iPhone 20, which will be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the first iPhone.
Mark Gurman claims that only the Pro version of the device will be presented, along with the iPhone Ultra 2.
According to the journalist, the iPhone 20 will undergo a truly significant redesign. Primarily, this concerns the display, which will occupy the entire front panel, meaning absolutely no “notch,” “island,” or even holes for the camera.
