Marichka Padalko shared details about her 19-year-old son’s service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

TV presenter Marichka Padalko spoke about her 19-year-old son Mykhailo, who decided to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine last year. According to her, her son rarely talks about his service, but she is aware of the good results of his work. She shared this in an interview with Masha Efrosinina.

— The mobilization of my husband, compared to the mobilization of my son, is incomparable. So much worry and anxiety goes into having a son. These are still incomprehensible things to me that I cannot fully accept, because I have not seen photos of my son, except for pictures in military uniform. I cannot imagine him on a combat mission. Perhaps I don’t even want to have these images in my head, just to preserve my sanity, to wake up and fall asleep. I don’t fully know what it’s like, — she said.

Padalko shared that Mykhailo signed a contract under the “18-24” program and is serving as a drone pilot, carrying out combat missions. According to the presenter, she is going through all this with great difficulty, but she is very proud of her son’s achievements.

— He has fantastic results, but there are trials in war that you are certainly not ready for at 19. He takes on too much responsibility for things for which Russia is certainly responsible, not 19-year-old Mykhailo Sobolev, — admitted the star.

Mykhailo signed a two-year contract, although the TV presenter suggests that he may remain in the army after its completion.

Marichka Padalko is officially married to military man and journalist Yegor Sobolev. The couple has three children.
