Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have the capability to organize three shifts of military personnel. According to him, this will allow for continuous rotations every two months.
Main points:
- Syrskyi reminded that rotation is a complex process.
- Overall, it concerns a military operation that involves a number of risks.
Syrskyi spoke about his new plans
According to the Commander-in-Chief, he and his team have calculated the number of personnel in brigades on average at their positions and the number of personnel deployed to the operation zone (ground operation — ed.).
There is a large number of military personnel in combat zones… We have all the conditions to create three shifts and ensure the training of the shift that will replace them through rotation.

He also made it clear that checks on how rotations are carried out will be conducted regularly.
Oleksandr Syrskyi officially confirmed that he has already chosen a specific date — the 15th of each month: that is when control of the rotation process will take place.
For example, groups of officers are currently working to verify how the accounting of military personnel on frontline positions was carried out in the brigades, and how their service duration is taken into account. This means that now everything needs to be clarified and sorted out with the people who will be replacing them, and a control system for this needs to be created, — Syrskyi explained.
