The head of the Ukrainian government, Serhiy Koretsky, conferred with the World Bank’s Managing Director for Operations, Anna Bjerde, regarding the yearly compilation of the RDNA report, designed to quantify the damages incurred due to Russian hostilities.
“I personally thanked her and the entire World Bank team for their support of Ukraine. Specifically, I expressed gratitude for the SPUR 2 initiative, which creates avenues for attracting private capital to rebuild our nation,” Koretsky stated on his Telegram channel following their phone conversation.
According to him, the parties deliberated on the continuation of reforms, the annual RDNA report preparation for assessing the repercussions of Russian aggression, and the execution of programs aimed at advancing the energy sector and fostering the growth of the Ukrainian economy.
Koretsky extended an invitation to Bjerde to visit Kyiv.
He indicated that the government is making preparations for the annual meetings with the IMF and the World Bank Group, scheduled for October.
