Корчацький анонсував термінову перевірку стану сховищ

Relevant ministries, in collaboration with regional military administrations, will promptly inspect civil defense shelters to ensure their proper maintenance and unimpeded access for citizens.

This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Relevant ministries, services, jointly with regional military administrations, including the Kyiv City Military Administration and local self-government bodies within their areas of responsibility, will immediately inspect all civil defense shelters for their proper upkeep and unobstructed access for citizens. All – without exception. Corresponding instructions have been issued to all responsible officials,” he wrote.

Koretskyi emphasized that access to shelters must be provided even when danger is known, but an air raid siren has not yet been announced. According to him, in the context of the constant threat of ballistic missile use, regional and city administrations must act more quickly, based on the real need to protect people.

“It is unacceptable for a problem with access to shelters to arise at all in Ukrainian cities in the fifth year of a full-scale war. People must always have the opportunity to get to shelters in advance and without hindrance, especially when there is a ballistic threat. And this is the personal responsibility of every official,” he added.

As Ukrinform reported, the Russian army launched a strike on Kyiv on the night of Thursday, July 30. Since the evening, metropolitan metro stations used as shelters were overcrowded. Users on social media posted videos claiming that some stations denied entry due to the large number of people.

At the same time, Kyiv Metro denied information about restricted access during the night attack.

The Kyiv City State Administration stated that the video circulating on social media, where people were allegedly not allowed into the metro during the attack on Kyiv on July 30, shows an industrial facility, not a Kyiv metro station.
