The renowned Ukrainian boxer, former undisputed world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (25-0, 16 KOs), has declared his decision to vacate all his championship belts. However, the athlete reassured his fans that he is not retiring from the sport. Usyk announced this on his social media.

– Today is a good day to announce that I wish to relinquish all the belts I currently hold. To make them vacant so that the guys who are waiting in line for them can fight. Friends, I am leaving the belts, but I am not leaving the sport, because I have a last dance, – said Usyk.

Currently, Usyk holds the heavyweight championship titles according to IBF, WBA, WBC, and IBO. He lost his WBO title not in a fight: Oleksandr relinquished it in the autumn of 2025.
