This was announced by Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov, during a media briefing.
As per the President’s directive, our focus is now on developing economical missiles for neutralizing Shahed drones. We have already identified approaches that are close to readiness and have commenced their evaluation.

According to Fedorov, Ukraine intends to significantly scale up the production of these missiles and establish the necessary inventory for the autumn-winter season.
Our objective is to increase production by tenfold and ensure a sufficient stock of these missiles for the autumn-winter period. We aim to expand and reduce the cost of interceptor missiles to prepare for the emergence of jet-powered Shaheds.
